I remember the first time I started my affiliate marketing training and began my niche websites, I was eagerly waiting for the day I made my first dollar. When that day finally arrived, I was elated and knew there was much more revenue to be earned. It was only the beginning!
Affiliate marketing success = hard work + determination.
A lot of hard work goes into building a niche website, so it’s not a get rich quick scheme. I probably only made my first dollar six months after I started my first website. You might start earning a lot sooner, depending on what your niche is and whether there is a lot of competition.
There are some incredible success stories out there of people who have really done well with affiliate marketing. They have created niche websites, posted high-quality content, and have earned attractive commissions.
Eddy Salomon
Eddy started affiliate marketing in 1993 and left the corporate world where he earned nearly $90,000 per year. He created a work from home website that has been featured on major news networks and career websites.

Colton James
Colton is 20 years old and one of his hobbies is computers, which is why he started his niche website pcbuildsonabudget.com. During April 2015, Colton decided to give up his job at his local gas station and go into internet marketing full-time. I have major respect for his determination because in November 2015 he earned $5,000 and that increased to $10,000 in December 2015.

Another impressive success story is that of Dom. In January 2013, he earned $50 and now he is earning between $10,000 and $15,000 per month. Dom also happens to be one of my clients. I do writing and editing on a part-time basis and he hired me as Chief Editor. It has been really impressive to see his success improve each month. Alex Sol
If you look at the stats and screenshots from his ClickBank account, you can clearly see Alex makes at least $100 dollars per day, including a lot of $200 and $300 days. Check his full post here . Amazing, he did this within his first three months. However, not everyone achieves that success so early, I certainly didn’t. Hard work pays off, even if it takes a year or two.
What Connects All These People?
They all members of Wealthy Affiliate. Before I started with WA I researched many success stories to get an idea of what I could earn and all the positive reviews I read definitely pushed me in the right direction. They all started as novices and knew nothing about affiliate marketing but their success didn’t happen overnight. As I said before, it takes a lot of work. You have to build your website, research keywords and create high-quality content.
What Is Your Earning Potential?
There is no limit to the amount of revenue you can earn. When people ask me how much they can earn. I ask them how much do you want to earn. The amount you want to earn is dependent on the amount of work you will invest into your site. Try to write at least one post per day and engage with your visitors on your site.
Goals are important. Think of your goals as your roadmap. Without goals, you have nothing to work towards. Start small and increase your goals over time.
Your Attitude Determines Your Success
On a daily basis, I hear people say I can’t do that, I will never build a successful site or business. You need to change your attitude and believe you can do it. When I became a writer and editor, I only had one client but I persevered and built a successful business within one year. It grew so much that I eventually had to turn potential clients away because there just wasn’t enough time. Everybody has to start somewhere but one day you will look back and remember the road that got you to where you are today.
